For a significant portion of my life, I placed great emphasis on the perceptions others held of me and the opinions they formed about me. I carried this burden heavily, inadvertently constraining myself within a self-imposed prison. I believed I had to conform to others' expectations and live according to their standards, excessively prioritizing their views of me.

It took a long time for me to grasp that when others' primary concerns are themselves, the opinions and thoughts they hold about me typically carry no significance. They hold no weight for me because they hold none for them. Our self-interest prevails above all else. If you've been ensnared by the influence of others' thoughts and opinions, it's imperative to liberate yourself from this trap immediately.

If the most important thing to me is me, then the most important thing to you, is you. It is never about me.
